This proposal aims at providing a dynamic and visual dashboard tool that is relevant in educating and disseminating timely information useful to enhance the understanding of status and trends of fisheries resources along the Texas coast. Providing accurate and timely information of living marine resource status, trends and key associated issues is part of the managerial cycle. Making relevant information available is key in educating resource users, increasing institutional transparency, and in building and maintaining key relationships between managers, industry, and the public.

This project is developed in collaboration with the Coastal Fisheries Division of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
